Brief Description:

Under general supervision, assist in development and implementation of customer tissue processing SOP to ensure complete process control. Independently and under general supervision, perform PCR and gel electrophoresis of ES cell DNA. Plan and implement long-range and Taqman qPCR projects. Use of robotics for automated DNA prep from ES cells and tissues. Perform laboratory techniques and support. Assist technicians in the inventory and labeling of a large number of oligos as they are received. Consolidate and submit various data to lead KOMP QC technician for QC and database entry. Buffer preparations and chemical dilutions; agarose gel casting and electrophoresis. Perform quantitative analysis via QuantStudio software. Operate autoclave and various other lab equipment. Operate nano drop machine for concentration determination.
